The Sweetwater Union High School District curriculum shall provide a wide range of knowledge and viewpoints with learning resources that reflect the ethnic and cultural diversity of the community and shall employ the use of multiple teaching strategies and technologies at varying levels of difficulty to meet the needs of district students.  These instructional materials shall be selected and evaluated to effectively support the adopted courses of study, state curriculum standards, and current curricular goals.  Review of instructional materials shall be coordinated with the overall development and evaluation of the district's curriculum.
